NSEJS (NATIONAL STANDARD EXAMINATION IN JUNIOR SCIENCE)
About NSEJS
The National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) is an annual examination conducted in India aimed at high school students. It serves as a stepping stone for students interested in science and paves the way for their participation in further prestigious science competitions.
The NSEJS is the first stage of selection for the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO). It is organized by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) in association with the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). The examination tests the understanding and application of scientific concepts among students, encouraging them to delve deeper into the fascinating world of science.
Why participate in NSEJS ?
The National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) is a valuable opportunity for Class VIII,IX and X students to advance in science, with the chance to represent India in the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO). Through multiple stages—NSEJS, INJSO, and the Orientation-Cum-Selection Camp (OCSC)—students strengthen their scientific understanding and problem-solving skills, receive expert mentorship, and compete on a global platform. Starting with an affordable entry fee, participants can win certificates, prizes, and global recognition, leading to academic and career advantages in STEM fields.
